Beautiful Materials, Intelligent Making

Beautiful Materials, Intelligent Making

Atelier Ellis Materials takes a pioneering approach to materials and making, using natural materials to create beautiful paints, colours and surface finishes.

Manufacturing at its truth means making by hand. A manufactory is a place where craftspeople use their heads and their hands to take raw materials and turn them into something beautiful and useful.

Our new manufactory is based on a farm in the heart of the South Downs, surrounded by nature. Our paint and materials are produced using clean, locally sourced materials and is fed by a reservoir for our water and manufacturing needs. Being routed in landscape and utilising local resources, anchors our thinking and decision making. It allows us to hold environmental care even closer than ever.

At the heart of Atelier Ellis is that we are here to help people tell their story of home and place, where they feel safe, protected and uplifted by where and how they live, work and play.
