Paint finishes and sheen levels
We make exceptionally breathable True Matt Emulsion paint that works on both lime and gypsum plaster. It enables buildings to breathe and our chosen ingredients use minimal energy.
For high-traffic areas, we recommend our hardier Steadfast Matt Emulsion.
Our wood & metal paint is breathable and versatile across interior and exterior substrates. We offer three sheen level options: True Matt 5-8%, True Eggshell 20-25%, and Soft Gloss 60-70%.
True Matt Emulsion

Our signature bio-based, beautiful and breathable water-based paint. Made from natural and unmodified materials with a renewable bio/natural-based binder, it dries to an incredibly flat finish. True Matt Emulsion is perfect for interior use on new gypsum or lime plastered walls, as well as previously painted walls and ceilings.
Two coats are usually required for perfect coverage and no primer is needed.

Suitable for lime and gypsum plaster as well as previously painted walls and ceilings.
Highly breathable (or microporous) with an SD value of 0.004.
Natural and unmodified materials, over 95% sourced from the UK.
A bio-resin natural binder made from raw materials including sugar, bio ethanol, vegetable oil produced from waste crops, castor oil and/or linseed oil.
Virtually VOC free (0.07g/l) and completely free from heavy metals, glycols and micro-plastics.
All pigments are VOC free (<1 g/l) and APE free.
Clean smelling
It is safe to use in children’s rooms, carrying the Safety of Toys Standard (EN71-3:2019).

Washable and wipeable
Touch dry time: 30 minutes
Re-coat time: 4 – 6 hours

Steadfast Matt Emulsion

Steadfast Matt Emulsion is our robust, scrubbable and breathable alternative to our True Matt Emulsion. It’s perfect for well ventilated kitchen and bathroom walls, and is particularly useful in commercial spaces and high traffic areas. It is certified child safe for children’s rooms.
Two coats are usually required for perfect coverage and no primer is needed.
Sheen: 5%
Suitable for gypsum plaster as well as previously painted walls and ceilings.
Highly breathable (or microporous) with an SD value of 0.0615m.
Natural and unmodified materials, over 95% sourced from the UK.

True Matt, True Eggshell, Soft Gloss for Wood, Metal & Floors

A durable water-based natural paint for interior and exterior use. Available in three finishes, all perfect for skirting boards, interior doors, wooden furniture, metal radiators and other interior or exterior wood or metal surface.
Colour matched primer is available, or other good quality water based primer/undercoats can be used.
We recommend True Eggshell or Soft Gloss for use on high maintenance areas such as kitchen cabinets, exterior doors, stairs and floors.

Suitable for all solid interior wood, exterior wood and any interior or exterior metal surface.
Breathable with an SD value of 0.1.
